Attendee Agreement

Attendance & Commitment

1

All attendees must confirm their participation by April 1, 2026. Attendees are expected to participate in the full three day program, including all core sessions, group activities, and meals unless otherwise noted. Arrival and departure should be planned to allow full participation.

Attendance is non-transferable. This is an invite-only event.

Plain language: Fully commit to the retreat experience. Don’t schedule work meetings. Don’t plan to duck out early or arrive late. Be present for the whole thing—that’s where the value comes from.
If you no-show, we will be gutted. You can’t swap your spot for someone else. We have a waitlist.

Conduct & Community Standards

2

All attendees must adhere to our code of conduct and demonstrate respectful, professional behavior toward fellow participants, hosts, venue staff, and the surrounding community. The retreat is designed to foster trust, openness, and meaningful dialogue; behavior that undermines this environment will not be permitted.

The hosts reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to remove an attendee whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with these standards, including but not limited to harassment, intoxication, substance misuse, refusal to follow venue policies, or failure to cooperate with event guidelines.

Plain language: Be kind. Be present. Be someone others feel comfortable sharing space with.
Take care of yourself and others—or we will ask you to leave.

Media, IP & Confidentiality

3

Attendees are expected to sign a media release for event photography, video, audio, and social use.

All retreat content, materials, and facilitation methods are the intellectual property of the hosts and may not be recorded, reproduced, distributed, or repurposed for commercial use without prior written consent.

Because this retreat includes peer discussion and shared experiences, attendees agree to respect the confidentiality of personal stories, professional challenges, and ideas shared within the group. What is shared in the room stays in the room (where it happens) unless explicit permission is given.

Plain language: We’ll take photos and video because the experience is inspiring and we want to share it. By being here, you’re okay being included.

Don’t record sessions, package up the content, or turn what we co-create into your own workshop later. Also, people will share real things. Treat that with care.

Health, Safety & Liability

4

Attendees acknowledge that participation in the retreat is voluntary and may involve inherent risks associated with travel and group activities. By attending, participants assume full responsibility for their physical, emotional, and personal well-being during the event.

The hosts are not liable for injury, illness, loss, damage to personal property, travel disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Participants agree to comply with all venue policies, local laws, and safety guidance provided by retreat hosts or site staff.

Plain language: You’re an adult. Bring what you need to feel well and safe. We’ll create a supportive environment, but we can’t manage your health, belongings, or travel plans for you.

By attending, participants agree to receive post-retreat communications from the hosts and sponsors, including summary materials, resources, surveys, and opportunities for continued conversations.

Limited participant information (name, title, organization, and email) will be shared with fellow attendees and sponsors for the purpose of relationship-building. Personal contact details will never be sold or distributed to third parties.

Plain language: We’ll stay in touch after this is over. You’ll get resources, a survey (please fill it out, we actually read them), and occasional follow-ups. We’ll share a simple contact list so well all can connect. No one is selling your data.
